Price: Starting at $90 per person + HST and booking fee. Includes a guided, hands-on forest exploration, herbal medicine-making session, and snacks and beverages.

Good to Know:

  • This experience is approximately three-hours in length.
  • Wear weather appropriate clothing and comfortable footwear, as will be walking in the forest and potentially crossing a few mud puddles!
  • This experience involves approximately 1.5- to 2-hours of walking in the forest.
  • Bring a notebook and a pen, if desired.
  • Drinking water will be provided
  • If you are allergic or intolerant to any foods, please let your host know at least one week prior to your experience.
  • An outhouse is available as needed, as well as a hand washing station.
  • All are welcome! Medicine making activities will be adjusted as needed to suit children, if present.
  • Don’t forget to stop by the beach on your way home to take in the fresh, crisp wind of the Bay of Fundy, and admire the intricate rock formations of the region!
Andrée-Anne Bédard

Andrée-Anne is a traditional herbalist who lives in beautiful Baxter’s Harbour with her family. She has been nurturing relationships with plants for as long as she can remember, and continues to learn from them everyday!She operates a thriving herbal clinic, teaches in a few post-secondary institution, and offers workshops in her community on the art and science of herbal medicine. She is the co-founder of Medicine of the People, the largest herbal gathering in Eastern Canada, that has for mandate to celebrate and disperse the gifts and teachings of the plants. She is a mother of three, is actively engaged in her community and is known amongst her friends and family to be of a bright and inquisitive nature.
